Fionna and Cake
Adventure Time

Inspiration: I love Adventure Time! However, my main reason for wanting to cosplay as Fionna was that I thought my cat looked a lot like Cake.

Materials/Construction Details: Most of this costume was bought: the shirt from Walmart, the skirt and shoes from a thrift store, and the socks from sockdreams.com. I made the backpack out of cotton, stuffing it with poly fiberfill like a pillow. I put a layer of foam in the straps to make them a little thicker. The hat was made out of fleece with a little wire in it to reinforce the ears.

Wig: I borrowed this wig from a friend, so I don’t really know where it came from. To achieve this look, I tied the excess hair back and tucked it up under the hat leaving only the bangs on the right side showing.

Prop: My cat Cooke posed with me as Cake for this shoot!
