My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Inspiration: I put together this outfit to do a product shoot for YayaHan.com. I almost never wear pink, so this is a different look for me. Though I don’t watch the show, it was a lot of fun doing this photoshoot with my friends!

Materials/Construction Details: I straight up bought the dress for this costume in pink to match Cadance’s color. I made the crown and choker out of worbla with self made patterns. Once the worbla was cut and shaped, I painted the pieces down with several layers of gesso, sanded it when it was dry, and painted them with gold acrylic paint. The gems were purchased from a craft store and glued in place.

Wig: All the wigs for this shoot were from Arda-wigs.com! The wig I wore was their “Melody” Candy Striper wig. I didn’t even need to style it!

In the photos with the festive party background, I was wearing one of Yaya Han’s designed wigs in pink, purple, and blonde.
