Hufflepuff Cheerleader – Original Design

Inspiration: My friend Collin came up with the idea of Hogwarts cheerleaders while we were hanging out in our Harry Potter robes at Dragon Con earlier this year. I have always identified with the Hufflepuff house and was even sorted into that house on Pottermore, so of course, that is the house I represented!

Materials/Construction Details: I bought a base cheerleader uniform in the appropriate colors of yellow and black and modified it. The Hufflepuff letters across the front are iron on embroidered letters, which I also reinforced with a few stitches. The letters that spell ‘Badgers’ are iron-on flocked letters. I also purchased a Hufflepuff crest patch and stitched that in place on the front.

The pom poms, socks, shoes, and hair bow were also purchased to make a matching set!

Wig: I used a base Hotaru wig and loose curly clip in flaxen blonde from Purple Plum wigs. The only adjustment I made was shortening the clip-on ponytail.
